Approximately 10% of the incoming YAG beam is reflected by the beam splitter through
the cylindrical lens to pump the oscillator dye cell. The remainder is directed by delay
line mirrors to the single amplifier cell. A beam expanding telescope between the
oscillator and amplifier cells servers the dual purpose of dye beam expansion and collimation.
